Gummy Smiles, an interdisciplinary approach Join us for a collaborative evening where we deep dive into the topic of gummy smiles. Often presenting with a myriad of clinical phenotypes and multifaceted aetiology, this phenomenon can lead to uncertainty in diagnosis and management. Our practical and interactive session will outline a structured approach to diagnosis and will discuss both periodontal and orthodontic treatment options for varying levels of severity. We’ll use real patient cases to highlight red flags to watch out for and share practical tips on when to refer and who to refer to.
