The presentation will firstly involve a brief recap of the anatomy of the of the temporomandibular joint. Followed by the signs and symptoms commonly associated with Temporomandibular Disorder, along diagnostic techniques that can aid a correct diagnosis. We will then discuss the different options we have at our disposal as general dentist's and which combination of these options and treatment philosophy would best treat a largely rural and low Socioeconomic status population that we service at rural Dental.
