Renal Disease and Oral Health: What are the issues?

The presentation will give a brief overview of renal disease and trends and prevalence in NZ. The aim is to enhance dental practitioners’ knowledge and understanding of the correlation between renal disease and oral health. The presentation will go into the importance of maintaining good oral health and preventive measures for patients with renal disease, and the role of dental practitioners in managing patients with renal disease.
