Amanda Kerr
I am a New Zealand trained registered nurse with 22 years of adult and paediatric Emergency Department experience. I hold a Masters Degree in Nursing Science from Victoria University and I have completed additional post-graduate training in Adult Education. I have extensive resuscitation training experience with 15 years of teaching Basic and Advanced Life Support across the country. I am a New Zealand Resuscitation Council (NZRC) qualified Core and Newborn Life Support instructor and instruct on both the ALERT and Paediatric Life Support (PLS) Courses. I am the secretary for the Core Instructors of New Zealand (CINZ) for the New Zealand Resuscitation Council (NZRC). Roles I have held include the Associate Director of Nursing for both Capital and Coast and Hutt DHBs and a Resuscitation Officer for the Hutt Valley DHB. I am very passionate about resuscitation and resuscitation teaching.
