We will go through the principles of bonding and ways how we can improve outcomes by using adjuncts such as air abrasion, rubber dam, photos and the general flow of day to day restorative dentistry. Depending on the practice, clinician and patient needs, the way we approach restorative dentistry can change and it is important to keep up to date with composites, bonding agents and techniques. Good restorative dentistry is critical for a general dental practice to thrive. This series is ONLY available for graduates within their first five years of practice.

My name is Shaun du Preez - a dentist from South Africa - finished dental school in the beautiful Cape Town in 2012. I have worked in private practice and at the university while completing a post graduate diploma in maxillo-facial radiology and then later a post graduate diploma in endodontics. My passion in dentistry is implant dentistry and endodontics. Essentially to give the patient the option to save the tooth and if we can't, to give another option of replacement.
