This intensive one-day course provides a comprehensive overview of implant dentistry, from initial diagnosis to post-implant review. Participants will gain insight into the indications for implant treatment, explore alternative treatment options, understand the role of the general dental practitioner in the implant process, delve into the use of CBCT and 3D planning, learn techniques for implant insertion, restoration of dental implants and review post-implant considerations.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to assess clinic situations for implant treatment, understand implant protocols, recognize indications for treatment, perform impression-taking and scanning procedures, handle prosthetic components effectively, and confidently execute implant insertion techniques in simulated environments.

Dr Christine Bellmann, MSc DMD, MSc

Dr. Christine Bellmann is a dentist and Master of Science in Implantology. She began her implant journey in 2009 and has completed post graduated courses in Germany, UK and the USA before moving to Whangarei where she lives with her family and works in her own practice. Christine is and excellent and experienced speaker, having presented at national and international events.
