Consultant, Educator, Speaker, Business Owner; Owner and consultant at PracticeSafe with 30years’ previous clinical experience in both the Military and private practice as a dental hygienist. I have worked as a Clinical Support Lead (NZ) in Clinical Quality Assurance, Compliance and Governance Specialist for BUPA Dental Corporation, with a degree in Population Health (Poutū-manahau), and currently studying a Masters in Social Policy at the University of Waikato. Grateful recipient of the Ministry of Health Hauora Māori Scholarship 2020 2022, Braemar Charitable Trust scholarship in Health, University of Waikato Summer Research scholarship and Te Ake Whai Ora Te Pitomata corporate scholarship 2023. I have served on the NZDHA Executive as President and Editor, as well as Waikato Branch President. Educator and consultant in organisational mental health and accredited Mental Health First Aid Aotearoa instructor (te Pou), providing project management, health and safety risk management, infection control education and auditing.
