This Masterclass provides the opportunity to ensure your knowledge in being able to identify and respond to a medical emergency in dental practice is proficient and up-to-date. It will also equip you with the skills to ensure your patients, in the event of an emergency, receive the best possible care from a skilled and educated practitioner.

Preparation for a medical emergency, standards of care, emergency equipment and drugs Assessing a patient with clinical deterioration in the dental environment Latest evidence in cardiac arrest management Recognition and management of emergencies, including: acute coronary syndrome, adrenal insufficiency, allergy/anaphylaxis, asthma, choking, diabetes, fainting, seizures and stroke
