Dr Peter Sese will lecture on oral surgery principles and fundamentals of the surgery. Dr Rajiv Rajpal will present 2 real life case presentations and discuss all aspects of each case and medical/preoperative considerations, surgery and post-op complications.

Dr. Sese recently completed his specialty training in Oral Surgery at the University of Otago and Dunedin Public Hospital, culminating nearly a decade of education and surgical training. Born and raised in Apia, Samoa, he moved to Dunedin in 2011 to earn his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS, 2015). Dr. Sese has extensive experience in both public and private practice. He began his career in Samoan public hospitals, where he discovered his passion for oral surgery. He later practiced in Invercargill, focusing on rural oral health and expanding his clinical skills to reduce the need for speciali

Dr Rajpal is a fully registered Specialist Oral Surgeon. He has completed close to 10 years of training from both the University of Otago, NZ and the University of Sydney, Australia. Graduating with a Clinical Doctorate of Oral Surgery has allowed him to become a highly trained specialist. Dr Rajpal practices the full scope of oral surgery including management of pathology such as cysts and tumours of the jaws, surgical removal of teeth including wisdom teeth, placement of dental implants, both bone and soft tissue grafting procedures, as well as management of jaw joint disorders and facial p
