A practical framework for planning and providing dental care for our high needs adult population The New Zealand population is more diverse, growing older, living with multiple chronic illnesses and anticipating retaining their dentition for life. This creates challenges for oral health practitioners tasked with providing safe and appropriate dental care. In this talk a practical framework for approaching this paradigm will be shared. It will include planning concepts, staging and prioritising care and a clinical update on the techniques and materials available to support good oral health in all stages of life.
