This is an inaugural meeting consisting solely of NZ Special Needs Dentistry specialists. The meeting facilitates peer contact and continuing professional development, an exchange of ideas, patient management strategies and an update for Special Needs Dentistry specialists seeing patients in predominantly hospital settings. A highlight will be a presentation from A/Prof Haizal Hussaini on PVL and Oral Cancer.
Learning outcomes
Attendees will be able to competently describe contemporary challenges in special needs dentistry along with innovative practice methods that allow optimal outcomes for patients with special needs.
