Oral Pathology Highlights Webinar Series [3] Interpreting biopsy results

This expert-led webinar series offers dentists a practical, clinically focused update on this area of dentistry. Across the series, participants can deepen their confidence in identifying oral mucosal lesions, in particular those that may need urgent management. Supporting this is the opportunity to have a deeper look at biopsy results to ensure every step of patient care is considered. Each session is designed to translate specialist knowledge into clear, usable guidance, giving clinicians a stronger diagnostic foundation and greater assurance in managing patients with potentially complex oral findings.

Learning outcomes

Using cases received in the Oral Pathology Centre as examples, the key features of biopsy reports will be discussed. Particular emphasis will be placed on understanding comments regarding the certainty of the diagnosis and whether or not further monitoring, investigations or active treatment are required.
