This course provides dental practitioners with a comprehensive understanding of managing dental trauma cases in New Zealand, specifically in relation to the Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC). We will also discuss the claiming protocols for Ministry of Social Development (WINZ), and adolescent dental care under the Combined Dental Agreement. Participants will learn how to effectively diagnose, treat, and document dental trauma cases to comply with ACC, what the requirements are for WINZ dental claims and CDA, ensuring optimal patient care and reimbursement.

Learning outcomes

1. Understand the roles and responsibilities of dental practitioners in managing dental trauma cases under the ACC 2. Learn the key principles of diagnosing and documenting treatment plans for WINZ. 3. Gain insights into the Combined Dental Agreement and its implications for dental treatment and reimbursement. 4.
