Simplified or multi-step techniques for perfect outcomes The question often heard from dentists during cementation procedures is, “Am I doing it right?” The truth is, there are so many options available for dentine bonding and cements today, and so many associated “hints and tips” to get the best clinical outcomes, that it can become quite confusing, and some clinicians may even find themselves using the wrong application technique for their product. The result can be poor bond strengths or post-operative sensitivity issues, both of which will ruin the clinical case.

Dr Michael Mandikos Dentist

Dr. Mandikos is a registered specialist in Prosthodontics. Michael received his Bachelor of Dental Science Degree with First Class Honours, from the University of Queensland and in 1998 he completed a three-year Residency Program at the State University of New York at Buffalo (USA), graduating with a Certificate in Prosthodontics and Masters Degree in Biomaterials. He has researched composite resin materials and published research papers in Australian and international journals on clinical and dental materials topics, as well as many clinical technique articles in local dental magazines.
