The CORE Immediate Certification equips rescuers with essential skills and knowledge for effectively managing medical emergencies in their early stages. This course is designed for individuals who may be called upon to respond to critical situations, such as cardiac arrest or life-threatening anaphylaxis. Learning outcomes

Practical skills of resuscitation + emergency scenarios. Upon completion of the course the learner should be expected to manage the early stages of a cardiac arrest. This includes adult, child and Infant collapse, the use of an AED and the management of an airway obstruction and breathing. CPD Hours = 6

Stuart has over 32 years of experience in primary and pre-hospital healthcare. He has worked as a Critical Care Nurse and Critical Care Paramedic and is an accredited NZRC CORE Advanced Instructor. Stuart delivers evidence-based advanced life support training informed by extensive real world emergency experience. He is passionate about education and specialises in preparing dental teams to recognise, manage, and respond effectively to medical emergencies within the dental setting.
