Direct Class II posterior composite restorations remain among the most challenging and technique-sensitive procedures in restorative dentistry. Despite their frequent placement in dental practice, outcomes often fall short of the longevity expected from traditional amalgam — largely due to a lack of standardized, evidence-based clinical protocols. This course bridges the gap between emerging scientific research and real-world application.

Learning outcomes

1. Analyze current scientific evidence identifying key factors that contribute to the failure of direct Class II posterior composite restorations. 2. Apply advanced clinical protocols 3. Incorporate innovative, research 4. Improve clinical efficiency and profitability 5. Develop effective patient communication strategies to educate on maintenance and manage expectations
