Associate Dentist for 2 days - Auckland
About the role:
We are looking for an associate dentist to join Glow Dental following the departure of our current associate, who is leaving to pursue further studies. It is a genuine transition and you will be stepping into an established patient base with a consistent flow of new patients alongside it.
The position is two days per week, Wednesday and Friday, with Saturday available as an optional additional day for those who want it. On Fridays you will be the sole dentist in the practice, working alongside a hygienist, so you will need to be comfortable running your own day. Guidance is available if you need it, but the expectation is that you can manage independently. The start date is flexible and we are happy to work around notice periods.
What the work looks like:
This is a general dentistry role at its core. You will step into an existing patient base and a steady flow of new patients, seeing a mixed list across pain relief, routine restorative care, and general dentistry. The principal is at capacity and this role exists to take on genuine clinical load. The expectation is that you will build on that foundation, growing your own momentum and developing a loyal base over time
What we are after is someone who takes pride in doing the fundamentals well, knows their limits and refers appropriately, and puts in the effort to keep their books full and their patients coming back. There is a solid foundation here. The expectation is that you build on it. A team-oriented attitude and willingness to pitch in where needed will go a long way here
Who we are looking for:
-Confident in general and restorative dentistry and pain management
-Warm and personable with patients. The kind of clinician people feel at ease with
-Comfortable working autonomously and running your own day
-Open to feedback and willing to work within an established practice culture
-Motivated to keep their books full and their patients engaged
-DCNZ registered and eligible to practise in New Zealand
About Glow Dental:
Glow Dental is a privately owned practice in Stonefields, Central Auckland, with a focus on quality general and restorative care and a growing surgical and implant arm. The team is close-knit and easy to work with, and the clinical expectations are straightforward. You will not be expected to take on complex treatment beyond your scope. What we value is a clinician who does the everyday work with care and consistency, fits well with the team, and takes quiet pride in looking after their patients well. If you are a solid general dentist who takes pride in doing the basics well, knows when to refer, and wants a practice where you can settle in and get on with it, this role suits you
How to apply:
Send a brief cover letter and your CV to [email protected]
Just tell us a bit about where you are at clinically and what you are after in a role.
