NZRC CORE Immediate, previously known as Level 4 Resuscitation is an Immediate course that runs for 6 hours. It does not include a skill or theory assessment. This course is for dentists (providing RA sedation only), nurses, pharmacists, midwives, dental therapists, dental hygienists orthodontic auxiliaries, Clinical Dental Technicians and other trained health professionals undertaking restricted activities.
Learning outcomes
Certification requires a practical session (6 hours) where the student demonstrates simulated practical skills in these areas: Practical skills of resuscitation. Scenarios for the management of collapse and medical emergencies. Anaphylaxis - Use of Adrenaline for those authorised to administer.
