Webinar 4: Mentally Healthy Work: Obligations and Opportunities In this webinar we will explore the view that everyone who goes to work should go home safe and healthy, both physically and mentally. Ensuring this is more than a legal obligation under the Health and Safety at Work Act (2015). It's the right thing to do. The opportunities arise when work is designed, organised, and managed to protect wellbeing enabling people to thrive. Thriving is related to a person feeling and functioning well across multiple areas of their life. Thriving is associated with ‘good work’ and mental harm with ‘toxic work’. The Mental Health and Wellbeing framework identifies four approaches to managing mental wellbeing at work. An effective wellbeing strategy used all four approaches. We will discuss the options available in each of these approaches.
