This webinar series is part of the ongoing support for our members, providing information, tools and advice to support their own wellbeing and that of their colleagues. The series will cover the topics: mental, social, physical and financial wellbeing, which are the key domains of dentist wellbeing.

Learning outcomes

This session will cover information on the transition to parenthood and the emotional challenges at this time. We will also discuss antenatal and postnatal depression and anxiety, including the red flags, symptoms, predisposing factors, barriers to seeking help along with what supports are effective. Tools that providers can offer new parents will also be covered. Alongside this will be places where support can be accessed through self-referral.
