Oral surgery is the application of anatomy, pathology, physiology and pharmacology. It can often be confronting in the general dental setting due to the complexity of patient histories and the range of treatment needed. This program is an interactive two day course developed for dental practitioners, including recent graduates, presented by Specialist Oral Surgeon, Dr Mark Atkinson. It is suitable for dental practitioners of all experience levels wanting to improve their confidence and skills in surgical exodontia.

Dr Mark Atkinson Oral surgeon

Dr Mark Daniel Atkinson is an Australian trained and registered Oral Surgeon. Mark previously served in the Royal Australian Air Force and as a Staff Specialist for NSW Health. He currently operates across metropolitan Sydney in private practice and holds an honorary lecturer position with the University of Sydney.
