This hands-on seminar, led by Dr. Luke Simpson, is designed to build confidence and enhance participants' skills in implant prosthetic restorations. The course covers restorative assessment, digital and traditional workflows, and impression-taking techniques. Attendees will gain practical, hands-on experience with intraoral scanners and impression methods while learning to identify and correct common errors. Through this seminar, participants will develop a solid foundation in both traditional and digital workflows, empowering them to achieve predictable and successful implant restorations.

Learning outcomes

By the end of this seminar, participants will be able to: -Assess implant restorations using digital and traditional workflows. -Perform accurate impressions with intraoral scanners and conventional methods. -Identify and correct common errors in implant prosthetics. -Gain hands-on experience to achieve predictable restoration outcomes.

Dr Luke Simpson BDS (Otago, 2000)

Dr Luke Simpson is an Otago Graduate (Class of 2000) where he was awarded the NZ Society of Periodontology Prize and the Leask Memorial Medal for Conservative Dentistry. He has been restoring implants since 2005 and placing implants since 2008. Luke has experience with a number of implant systems and has been placing and restoring OSSTEM implants since 2018 when they entered NZ. He leads a comprehensive dental practice in Titirangi and visits other clinics to provide surgical and sedation dentistry (implants and wisdom teeth) and implant prosthetics.
