Medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ) is a rare, severe debilitating condition from unknown causes. It is characterized by nonhealing exposed bone in a patient with a history of antiresorptive or antiangiogenic agents in the absence of radiation exposure to the head and neck region.

Mr Madhavarajan is a dual-qualified, UK-trained Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He has recently relocated to New Zealand and is delighted to join the team at Anglesea OMS. He first qualified as a medical Doctor in 1995 and trained in India as a General Surgeon, where he was awarded a Gold Medal in General Surgery.
