This 4 hr (CORE Immediate -equivalent) Resuscitation course covers all the requirements outlined in the Practice Standards for Dentists revalidated every two years, This includes: Airway management to LMAs CPR- Adult and Child collapse. AED Defibrillation Anaphylaxis Team work and communication skills . Maternal collapse / asthma, choking , etc Courses can also be provide at your dental surgery for groups, if you prefer to have the scenarios in your own environment . Mr Andy Davies NZRC Instructor

Resuscitation coordinator, Tauranga Hospital and NZRC CORE instructor. Andy first qualified as an advanced instructor in the UK working for the European Resuscitation Council in 1995. Since moving to Tauranga in 1997, Andy has been working at Tauranga Hospital teaching resuscitation at all levels of staff , for GPs , GP nurses, Dental staff and other groups of allied health professionals . Andy has been part of the Medical Emergency Team at the DHB and provides help and support for traumas and cardiac arrests throughout the hospital .As such, his knowledge is based on practical experience and knowledge. Andy, until recently, has been deeply involved with the New Zealand Resuscitation Council as an assessor on the 'new-instructors' course.

Jenny Cooper qualified as New Zealand Resuscitation Council Advanced instructor in 2006 . As a New Zealand trained specialist Nurse, her focus has been in acute medicine and emergency care. She has worked on the New Zealand ambulance service as a volunteer, and has high communication skills and attends resuscitation conferences biannually .
