Management of Peri-Implant Disease

This course teaches general practitioners the latest understanding of aetiology and pathogenesis of peri-implant disease. It provides clear guidelines on implant maintenance requirements and protocols for non-surgical therapies at the earliest onset. In many cases implants will require surgical intervention of either implantoplasty, soft tissue grafting, hard tissue grafting or a combination approach. The course will help general practitioners direct their patients to timely surgical management where indicated.
