Meg is a well-known presenter throughout Australia, New Zealand and Pacific Islands. Her extensive knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control and Sterilisation is delivered to be suitable for all members of the dental team and is designed to ensure the practice is in adherence with the required expectations of Australian/New Zealand Standards. Meg imparts her knowledge in an interactive and friendly manner ensuring all members of the team are clear about their respective role responsibilities and specific clinician accountability. Meg’s overall objective is that the team becomes self-managed to deliver a quality management approach to infection prevention and general compliance in the most effective and efficient way for enhanced productivity and therefore increased profitability and risk management. She has a clinical background and a passion for dentistry, specifically in the areas of Practice Management, Infection Prevention and Sterilisation, Ergonomics and Occupational Hygiene. With over 30 years’ background and experience in the dental industry. She has both clinical and industry knowledge and has held many roles in both fields. She also provides an independent Consultant service for Infection Control Solutions – Australia/New Zealand, and was member of working groups for both NZDA Code of Practice, and DCNZ Practice Standards development.
