Dental crown restorations are a common treatment modality by most dentists. However, many dental crowns are seen as sub-optimal and many dentists face problems regarding their outcome. This unique course aims to help you improve your skills in every step of the crowning process - from start to finish. Dr Ben Lee, Dr Johnson Chou

Ben completed his MDSc in Prosthodontics from the University of Sydney. During this time, he was given the Young Prosthodontist Award by The International College of Prosthodontists. He is past President of the Australian Prosthodontic Society (NSW) and Australian Asian Association of Dentists. He is a mentor for implant diploma courses offered by the University of Sydney and Charles Sturt University. In addition, being a visiting honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney and a frequent presenter for Nobel Biocare, Ben frequently presents on the topic of dental implants and fixed prosthodontics nationally. As a prosthodontist, Ben works full-time in his referral based specialist centre in Chatswood, Sydney, with particular interest in the surgical and restorative aspects of dental implant treatment. Dr Johnson Chou was born in Taiwan and grew up in Auckland. He graduated from University of Otago (New Zealand) with a Bachelor Degree in Dentistry. He then went on to complete a three year Clinical Doctorate in Prosthodontics at Sydney University to become a registered specialist Prosthodontist. Dr Chou is a prosthodontic special field member of the Royal Australian College. Dr Chou has special interest in the temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and its management with regard to pain and parafunction. In addition his work focuses on anterior aesthetics, bonding, veneers and crowns. Dr. Chou also has experience in orthodontics and he works with Specialist Orthodontists to assist patients who have TMJ pain, muscular pain, dysfunction as well as placing aesthetic bondings on front teeth at the end of orthodontic treatment for teeth. Dr. Chou finds it important to be up to date and he attends continuing education courses in the field of cosmetic dentistry, dental Implantology and surgery, orthodontics, occlusion, temporomandibular joint disorder and endodontics. He also lectures privately at continuing education courses in the field of the TMJ and composite resins for front teeth.
