Emeritus Professor Laurie Walsh AO is a leading authority in dental infection control, with over 25 years of postgraduate teaching experience and more than 100 publications in infection control and a further 200 publications in clinical microbiology. He has served on the Australian Dental Association Infection Control Committee since 1998,and contributed to the development of the ADA's infection control guidelines, NHMRC infection control guidelines, Australian standards (AS/NZS 4187, AS 5369, AS 2773) and the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (2019 and 2021).
