After completing postgraduate studies in Singapore, Karen pioneered the endodontics department in Alexander Hospital in Singapore. Subsequently moved to Nelson and established herself in the local scene by working in 2 general practices; Karen was also very active in supporting the local dental community by giving lectures to the branch in Nelson. In 2005, Karen moved to Christchurch and worked in Christchurch endodontics until 2018 before setting out on her own in Kaiapoi Silverstream. Karen has contributed articles to NZDA and given multiple talks to local study groups.
