Airway Management Adult CPR Paediatric CPR Use of an AED The CORE Immediate Certificate is designed to provide instruction on the fundamental of advanced life support by healthcare personnel who may have initiate resuscitation, then participate as part of the resuscitation team once expert help arrives. The course is intended to address the very large number of health professionals who make up the bulk of the in-hospital system, and those working in low-risk community settings eg. Dentists that do not perform IV sedation and registered nurses working in low acuity settings.
The CORE Immediate certificate is validated by the NZRC for one year from the date of issue. For their own purposes, employing organisations and accreditation bodies may recognise the certification for longer than this. However, because of the decline in skill-level, the NZRC does not support any recognition period longer than 3 years.
