Gone are the days of chronic and aggressive periodontitis, are you up to speed? In this webinar, Poppy will give an overview of the assessment of a periodontal patient, with a focus on demystifying the 2017 Classification of Periodontal and Peri-implant diseases and conditions. She will help you to apply this to your daily clinical practice and use it as a tool for periodontal diagnosis and treatment planning.

Learning outcomes

Be able to identify and understand the 2017 Classifications of Periodontal and Peri-implant diseases and conditions, and apply this for periodontal diagnosis and treatment planning in daily clinical practice

Dr Poppy Horne BDS (Distinction), DClinDent (Perio)

Dr Poppy Horne graduated BDS (Distinction) from the University of Otago in 2010. She then worked at Auckland District Health Board and in private practice before returning to Otago in 2016 to undertake her Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontics. Poppy has been the recipient of more than fifteen awards and scholarships in dentistry, has published several papers in the international dental literature and been involved in the clinical teaching of dental students at the University of Otago.
