Course Description; In this 2-day course we will explore the complexities of restorative dentistry with a focus on improving functionality and restoring aesthetics. You have the option to either attend the theory component for an in-depth understanding of restorative dentistry or enhance your learning by also participating in additional hands-on practical sessions.

Learning outcomes

Learning Outcomes; Attendees will gain comprehensive knowledge on achieving optimal functionality and aesthetics in restorative dentistry, focusing on root canal-treated tooth restorations, anterior restorations with composites and ceramics, and direct and indirect veneer applications. Through the lectures and optional hands-on sessions, participants will learn advanced techniques in direct anterior aesthetics, bonded posterior ceramics, and guided veneer preparation.

Dr Maciej Zarow DDS, PHD

Dr. Maciej Zarow is a highly experienced European dentist and educator, specializing in Operative Dentistry and Endodontics. He holds a PhD from the University of Krakow and has co-authored over 80 publications. With years of experience, including running a private practice in Krakow and the Dentist Postgraduate Courses Centre, Dr. Zarow brings a wealth of knowledge to his presentations. His extensive experience of lecturing both in poland and internationally, ensure an enjoyable and informative event!

Dr Anthony Mak BDS, Grad Dip Clin Den

Dr. Anthony Mak, a 2002 University of Sydney graduate, is a renowned speaker in digital and restorative dentistry, lecturing globally across Australasia, Europe, Asia, and the US. He is a clinical consultant for leading dental companies and operates two Sydney practices specializing in aesthetic and implant dentistry. As a Clinical Professor at the University of Puthisastra and a member of the Graduate Diploma in Oral Implants Committee at the University of Sydney, Dr. Mak is dedicated to advancing dental education and leads the BioEmulation Group's Australian team.

Dr Andrew Chio BDS

Dr. Andrew Chio, a 1995 University of Melbourne graduate, is an award-winning dentist with extensive clinical experience. He runs his own practice, has contributed to the Royal Flying Doctor Service’s clinical programs, and gained valuable experience in Nepal. Dr. Chio has published articles on restorative dentistry and is actively involved in dental education with the University of Melbourne, La Trobe University, and the Australian Prosthodontic Society (VIC) MDS CPD Committee. Dr Chio provides many years of experience and an excellent ability of sharing his knowledge!
