This interactive, hands-on course is tailored for dental professionals aiming to elevate their Guided Bone Regeneration (GBR) skills for improved implant outcomes. -Understand bone healing dynamics and the GBR PASS principle. -Follow a step-by-step GBR approach using particulate bone grafts. -Learn to select ideal graft materials & membranes. -Gain hands-on experience in GBR & implant placement. -Master membrane fixation with titanium pins & sutures. -Practice periosteal releasing incisions for tension-free closure. -Differentiate between 2-stage vs. 1-stage GBR approaches. -Explore uncovering techniques for optimal outcomes.

Dr David Ko BDS (Otago), DClinDent (Perio) (Otago)

David graduated from Otago University in 2010 and became a registered periodontist in 2015 after completing his postgraduate doctoral training (DClinDent) in Dunedin. He currently practices at Periodontal Services in Christchurch, specializing in implant and periodontal services as well as other surgical treatments. An active member of several dental associations, David frequently delivers implant and periodontal lectures to local and national dental groups.
