Auckland and parts of the Waikato region (Waitomo District, including Te Kuiti, Waipa District, Ōtorohanga District, Raglan, Te Kauwhata, Huntly, Ngāruawāhia, Hamilton City and some surrounding areas) are currently at Alert Level 3, the rest of the country is at Alert Level 2.

NZDA continue to advocate for our members during this time, to get clear instructions for what this means for oral health professionals.

Practitioners should be working in compliance with the Ministry of Health and Dental Council New Zealand guidelines for oral health services at their relevant COVID-19 Alert Level.

These can be found at Dental Council’s Guidelines for oral health services at COVID-19 Alert Levels.

NZDA aims to keep this section of our website as up to date as possible, as information unfolds.
