Dental Practice Managers fill a hugely important role in the dental practice. Whereas Dentists are required to undertake years of training at university and ongoing CPD, the Practice Manager often steps up to the role of Practice Manager with no training and is required to undertake myriad complex and critical tasks in the practice with minimal, if any, training. Upskill your Practice Manager by providing training to expose them to their roles and responsibilities of a PM and how to effectively run a high performance dental practice team. Marketing Marketing has become increasingly important for practices to attract new patients, yet many still struggle with this aspect of the business. Promote your Practice Manager to include the role of Marketing Manager by providing tools and insights into what makes a marketing campaign work as well as marketing ideas that work. Get your PM to understand the top trends in dental marketing including digital marketing strategies to help you engage with your current patients and reach out to potential patients. Give your Practice Manager the skills to help get new patients through the door with confidence using both external marketing skills and increasing engagement with patients. This workshop also includes the creation of an integrated marketing campaign that can be applied back into the practice. Leadership One of the critical pieces of running a successful dental practice is leadership and people management. And one of the most fundamental tools in leadership is performance management to increase loyalty and motivation in the dental practice. Give your PM the skills to have performance discussions with the team, as well managing and leading the team, including dentists, to ensure a smooth running practice with all team members focused on the same goals and vision. Make sure your PM is able to have critical/ difficult conversations with the team, while being self-aware in these discussions. Further event information
